ACP Robotics Program

Since its establishment in 2018, the ACP Robotics Education Program has achieved remarkable progress. This includes the successful launch of its inaugural batch of FIRST Robotics teams and the introduction of the FIRST Robotics Team Advisory Program in 2019. The program has shown substantial growth, further amplified by the addition of esteemed World Class FTC team 8565 TechnicBots and their coach Dr. Fang Wang, who also serves as Vice President at ACP.

ACP Robotics recently completed Phase One (2018 - 2024) of its lifecycle: the seeding phase. Phase One focused on working closely with and mentoring coaches on how to start and lead their own robotics teams. Now that many teams from the seeding phase are able to operate independently with committed coaches and team members and accomplish their own impressive achievements, the ACP Robotics program will be entering Phase 2 for the 2024-2025 season, the blooming phase. This phase will be primarily focused on expanding the ACP FIRST Robotics Advisory Program to all FIRST robotics teams in the DFW area through monthly in-person forum talks and mentoring interactions. We are extremely proud to be able to reach this step with all the passionate people in the program from coaches to students. With Phase 2, we hope to continue growing and expanding our expertise to benefit the larger robotics community and lead more youth into robotics and STEM as a whole.
