Youth Award of Excellence

The ACP Foundation helps encourage the next generation of professionals to be successful in their further endeavors of higher education and professional life by offering ACP Youth Awards of Excellence (YAE) with monetary scholarship at the ACP MetroCon. The YAE are designed to recognize the outstanding achievements in the following areas: STEM, Arts, Sports, Community Service and Leadership, performed by 10th to 12th grade students who are children of an ACP lifetime member, and in the top 20% of their current school academic score ranking. Three independent judges who are native English speakers and are not necessarily familiar with the nominees will be invited by YAE committee to review/evaluate the applications. Each judge will give their own scores independently. The winner in each category is chosen based on the highest average score from three judges. Final decision will be discussed by steering committee. We are expecting more and more youth generation who can demonstrate their excellence in dedication, determination, innovation, and vision.
